CPA FREDRICK RIAGA

is a business leader who is strategy oriented, vision driven, and innovative. He is currently the CEO of The Public Sector Accounting Standards Board in Kenya where his visionary leadership has contributed to achievement of key milestones for the Board. He previously worked as the Head of Public Policy and Research at the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) where he led the Institute’s policy research in the areas of governance and accountability.

FCPA EVANS MULERA

is a fellow of the Institute of Certified Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK). Evans received his fellowship in recognition for distinguished service to the Accountancy profession nationally and internationally. He holds an MBA in Finance and a bachelor’s degree in education. 

As of 1st June 2022, Evans heads the African Professionalisation Initiative Secretariat, which is currently hosted by AFROSAI-E. Evans leads initiatives to coordinate the efforts of accountants general, supreme audit institutions, professional accountancy organisations and academics to systematically address the shortage of adequate professional accounting and auditing skills in the public sector. 
 

DR. FCPA NICHOLAS LETTING, Ph.D, HSC,

the current KASNEB Secretary/Chief Executive Officer is the immediate past Vice – Chancellor/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Management University of Africa (MUA). He has served as Council Member and Chairman of Finance, Strategy and General Purposes Committee at the former Kenya Institute of Education (KIE), now Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) since 2011 to 2019. He is 48 years old.

DR. Peter KITONYO

is an accountant and a financial expert, practicing Certified Public Secretary of Kenya and governance trainer and champion, accredited expert in governance, Ethics, Risk and Compliance (GERC), accredited governance auditor and Board Evaluator, IRCA (UK) certificated ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems auditor, economist, researcher and policy analyst.  

FCPA SHABIR ISSAK 

Is a CPA with over 25 years’ experience in Business and Accounting, with a bias towards financial reporting, assurance and strategic Management. 
As a member of ICPAK based in Mombasa, he has served as past Chair of the Coast Branch of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants and thereafter served ICPAK Council on the Members Services Committee and subsequently in the Public Policy and Governance Committee. He is currently a member of the board of trustees of KCA University.

Anthony M. Kariuki

Anthony is currently the Senior Client Partner at Corporate Moves Africa, a talent and strategy consulting firm based in Nairobi, but working with clients in various geographies in Africa. He was previously Client Partner at Career Connections Ltd, East Africa’s foremost executive search firm. In close to 6 years now, he has conducted about 100 high level C-suite hires for various organizations in Kenya and Africa and has built up a high level of skill and expertise in talent consulting which includes leadership development and training.​

Steve Obuogo

is an impassioned educationist with over 8 years of experience in education development, business development and experiential marketing. Currently, he is the Education Relationship Lead covering the horn of Africa (Eastern Africa) for ACCA Global. Steve is a commerce graduate from Kenyatta University and a member of Institute of Human Resource Management of Kenya. He is human resource practitioner by training, a learning and development expert by career, and a mentor by passion.

CPA Dr. Margaret N. Nyakang’o, CBS

Dr Margaret Nyakang’o was appointed the Controller of Budget in the Republic of Kenya on 4th December 2019 among others, to oversee and report on the implementation of the budgets of the National and County Governments to the National Assembly, Senate, County Assemblies and the Executive on a quarterly basis. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Liverpool, UK. Her doctoral research thesis was on Strategic Workforce Planning within the context of the Kenyan Public Service.
